P.A.P.A. lab Lagos Nigeria

P.A.P.A.Lab is a travelling service that unites correspondents on location. Share finds and develop workingmethods. Initiates workshops. P.A.P.A.Lab organizes public presentations and culture shock therapy.
P.A.P.A.Lab will visit Lagos Nigeria, Sao Paulo Brasil, Dhaka Bangladesh and Bishkek Kyrgystan the coming year. The finds of P.A.P.A.Lab on world tour will lead to the design and launch of the P.A.P.A. Platform.

At the end of this year P.A.P.A.Lab finds will be published in a booklet (or BOOK if more money is generated) and presented in public discussions in Amsterdam and Rotterdam (and more places in the world if..).

P.A.P.A.Lab Lagos Nigeria will take place from 7th till 28 th of September 2009. The hosting organisation is The African Artists’ Foundation. www.africanartists.org P.A.P.A.Lab Lagos will work with a mixed group of artists and photojournalists. The program will mainly be developed on the spot. Loosely speaking we think about:
1. first week of Wild walks, strolling around  together with fellow artists/photojournalists without an agenda (no presupposted idea). By way of looking under the carpet/finding details with a story to attach news to. Share what we find after each stroll.
2. second week of creating news on location, make news about the people involved.
3. third week take action to create news, open up for a bigger group of people in shared action/presentations etc.
